As you can see, I’m experimenting with this blog’s design. I bought a batch of themes from StudioPress (no, this is not an affiliate link). They were on sale. Hey, I love a bargain. And one bit of advice I got from the Latin American Bloggers Conference was to convert to the Genesis Framework. Yes, Yucatango, I took your advice!
Right now, I’m testing out this theme. It’s called Minimum. I like the fact that it has its own custom Google fonts (Droid and Oswald), but on my screen they look a little spindly. Anyone else having trouble reading them? I have tried to import custom fonts before, but never had any luck — despite the common perception that it’s super easy to do it. I’m just a lousy coder.
I’m hoping all this design decision-making will train my brain to be sharp for all the house-building decisions we’ll be facing this year.
